We’re excited to announce the recipients of FFVA Mutual’s 2023 Safety Awards! This year, we are proud to recognize two outstanding policyholders who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to workplace safety: Hunter Electric Company received the Safety Achievement Award and Certified Air Conditioning received the Commitment to Safety Award.
Both companies have been with FFVA Mutual for over seven years, showcasing not only loyalty but also a steadfast dedication to maintaining low loss ratios, mod rates, and implementing robust safety training programs.

The criteria for the FFVA Mutual Safety Awards are rigorous, and this year’s recipients have met and surpassed the standards as listed below.
Safety Achievement Award
- Loss Ratio under 20% for a minimum of 3 consecutive years with FFVA Mutual.
- Improving Experience Modification factor (MOD rate) for each of the qualifying years.
- Completes critical recommendations made by their FFVA Mutual safety consultant.
- Attends FFVA Mutual training, live webcasts, web-based resources and other safety services through OSHA outreach or other sources.
- Development and implementation of formal safety programs, self-inspection programs, incentive plans, and safety committees.
Commitment to Safety Award/Most Improved
- Improving Experience Modification Factor (MOD rate) and declining loss ratio showing continuous improvement.
- Attends FFVA Mutual training, live webcasts, web-based resources and other safety services through OSHA outreach or other sources.
- Development and implementation of formal safety programs, self-inspection programs, incentive plans and safety committees.
These annual awards recognize FFVA Mutual policyholders that have implemented effective safety measures, demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, and achieved outstanding safety performance.
